Career Accelerator Course

Course Overview:  

This course begins with a discussion of career values and goals, focused in part on identifying and describing the learner’s core strengths. In addition to resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile review and improvement, learners are led through modules on developing networks, refining interview skills (phone, video-conference, and in-person; informational and behavioral), identifying and approaching appropriate references, and handling the job offer. Throughout the process the learner is asked to complete a series of tasks and assignments (e.g., brief readings, revisions of cover letter/resume/LinkedIn profile, etc.). Finally, the course provides tips and strategies for succeeding in one’s new role.
